Fierce Grace in Death

Death has touched the life of two of my friends in the past couple of days. I received the news yesterday from a friend about their close friend's very unexpected death.

Then, just today, a friend was with family gathered around his 50 year-old sister as she passed and took her last gentle breath. I had been praying for it to be merciful and filled with ease.

There is just such fierce grace and beauty in death. It cannot help but serve to evolve every life it touches. As life changes from one form to the next, may all spirits soar -- free and wild -- beyond whatever was dreamed possible.

May all souls be blessed with peace, eternal happiness and grace, and infinite love.

And so it is.

Namaste,

Julie
